Michael “Coach Mike” Guinn II is a dedicated youth development leader, health and fitness professional, and community advocate with more than 12 years of experience serving youth and families throughout Fontana and the Inland Empire. His work combines fitness, mentorship, nutrition education, and leadership development to help young people build confidence, discipline, and the skills necessary for long-term success.

Coach Mike is the founder of MG Elite Training and the I Can Foundation, organizations through which he has developed programs focused on physical fitness, education, mentorship, nutrition, and community engagement. His commitment to youth development has also extended internationally, including service with children and communities in South Africa.

He earned an Associate’s Degree from Chaffey College and pursued further studies in Kinesiology at California State University, Los Angeles. His professional experience includes speed and performance training, adaptive fitness, human movement, nutrition education, and youth performance development.

At Capable Leadership Initiative, Coach Mike brings years of hands-on experience working directly with young people and families. He is committed to creating environments where youth are challenged, supported, and equipped to recognize their potential, develop healthy habits, strengthen their character, and become positive contributors to their families and communities.

Joshua “Sarge” Snyder is a retired U.S. Army senior leader with more than 22 years of military service and extensive experience in leadership, management, mentorship, and organizational development. Throughout his military career, he served in numerous leadership positions and received multiple military and academic awards recognizing his leadership, management, and professional accomplishments.

Sarge holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Leadership and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies. His passion for developing capable leaders extends across business, ministry, education, and community service.

He is the Founder and Chief Consultant of Ask Sarge Solutions, where he provides leadership development, coaching, and organizational consulting. He also serves as Pastoral Assistant and Director of Security at The Joshua Center International Church and as Administrative Coordinator for Joshua Center Christian Academy.

At Capable Leadership Initiative, Sarge brings together decades of leadership experience and a commitment to developing the next generation. He believes leadership is not simply a position or title—it is the capacity to take responsibility, influence others positively, and leave people and organizations better than you found them.

Angela Lavender is an experienced healthcare professional and administrative leader with more than 16 years of service in the healthcare field. She currently serves as an Administrative Supervisor in Cardiology Registration at Loma Linda University Health, where her leadership experience has earned recognition for excellence within the Cardiology Department.

In addition to her healthcare career, Angela is a California-licensed Life-Only Insurance Agent affiliated with Primerica. Through her work in financial services, she is committed to helping individuals and families better understand financial protection, life insurance, and the importance of establishing a strong financial foundation.

Angela’s commitment to service extends into her community through The Way World Outreach, where she participates in discipleship, faith-based development, and community-centered activities. She has a particular passion for encouraging women and families and helping others grow both personally and practically.

As Board Secretary for Capable Leadership Initiative, Angela brings extensive administrative experience, leadership, attention to detail, and a heart for service to the organization. She is committed to supporting CLI’s mission and helping strengthen the organizational foundation necessary to create meaningful and lasting opportunities for the young people and communities CLI serves.
